Piney Campground is located in the Pintler Ranger District, Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest (1 hr 30 min southeast of Missoula, MT) with an elevation of 6,407 feet. There are a total of 17 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to mid September. 16 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Fees range from $15.00 to $17.00. Some amenities include boat ramp, swimming. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this campground. It's always very clean and the hosts this year were very nice. Of course I love the easy access to the lake and the surrounding area. Will come again!

The camp hosts are doing a fantastic job of maintaining clean outhouses and keeping them supplied. The campground was clean and in a beautiful spot. ONLY downside was our cooler, sitting under our trailer, was stolen at 2:30am. Not the campground's fault--it only had bottles of water in it. Young jerks probably looking for beer who were sorely disappointed but we still lost an expensive cooler. Campers beware. :(

Great campground with easy access to RV sites. An entire loop of FCFS sites completely unused in the middle of July!!

clean campground, easy to get to (although the access road does need some help). Camp host was AWESOME! Kept the pit toilets clean and stocked with paper. Was super relaxing, quiet and beautiful. Will definitely be back.

The area was very clean and access was good. Some issues with reservation conflict with dates of others overlapping, but a great camp host corrected any issues asap.

Great lake access. Sites are pretty big and many are not too close together. Vault toilets were clean and well stocked with TP.

Had a great time. Camp host sells firewood cheaper than stores in town so save money and space and get firewood from the camp host.

The sites have a lot of holes that made it dangerous to twist ankle. Camp host gone most of the time we stayed there. It is a beautiful lake lots of area to ride bikes saw moose and deer which great. Make sure you know site hard to know by their reservation sign

The trailer next to us had a loud generator on most of the night! Very annoying! I thought there were rules about generators running at night?

Very nice campground with easy access to Georgetown Lake. Would recommend if you don't ming dry camping.
