The camp hosts in all loops are great. This is hands down the cleanest campground Ive ever camped at. Access to the lake is by boat ramp only, but that didnt bother us (some people camping at lake campgrounds want to be on the lake). Kids (9-year old twin boys) loved riding their bikes around the loops and met some really nice people. Its very shady with tall trees and you have a mix of camp spot types; outside spots on the loops backup to the woods, inside spots border other inside spots (but not cramped with good space between neighbors) and ones that border the campground road and have views of the lake. All in all, excellent campground that well return to!

We love the sounds of the many birds who make Georgetown Lake their home.

Reservations were done on-line and relatively easy. Lots of good email communication, including several reminders. We landed the back-in manuever on the first try and found it to be perfectly level! Wow! The parking strip was asphalt paved and beautifully constructed. We pushed the trailer all of the way to the back of the site, against a concrete bumper, in order to keep our tow vehicle on site with us.
We were in Loop C, the third of three loops. I picked site #43 on-line because the site posting included photographs showing a healthy view of the lake. Yes, that worked out. Most sites in all three lopps are set deep in this campsite with a pretty dense grove of fir trees that cut-off any lake views. Our site was on the perimeter of the loop, facing the lake, with only scattered trees in front of us. Made a good site choice here.
It was dry camping at it's best. No power, no sewer, no water. Just a great spot located in a beautiful forest with a beautiful setting.
