We have camped here for decades and have never had an experience like this year. First, the area is in Stage 2 fire restrictions (no campfires) but wasn't posted anywhere except if you wanted to read the page long restrictions in the outhouse. It should have been posted on the main sign so we didn't have to police the other campers in the loop. The camp host should have been watching for that sort of thing, at least making it around the camp once an evening. He was only seen checking the outhouse once a day, never did clean one that I witnessed. Whatever company has taken over for the hosting is a joke!! He stated that there were a lot of cancellations but he still reserved the spots for people who didn't show up. He did not check to see if the people camping in the spot were the ones who paid, or open up spots that weren't occupied. It was my understanding that if the site was not occupied the first night, the reservation was forfeited. We wanted to move campsites closer to our family but weren't allowed, only to watch the site go unused for the duration of our stay. Not sure we will return. So completely disappointed.

When making my reservation and looking at the site map, there was no indication that the stinky, smelly restroom was located 8 feet away from my camper door.
This site should be eliminated or used for a tent site only. Very disappointed with this situation, not to mention all of the traffic using the facility all day and night. I am pissed and that is all I have to say about it.
