We loved our one night at this campsite. We were one of the only sites doing tent camping, and most others had RVs, but the site was still peaceful. My only complaint was the mosquitoes! Three weeks on the road with no bites but left this campground with quite a few. Hope to be back :)

Beautiful peaceful park. We enjoyed having electricity. Campground host were very friendly and keeping an eye on the campground. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.

We have camped at Philipsburg Campground for years and it is always wonderful. The sites are big and paved. We enjoyed having electricity at one of the few sites they now have. Bathrooms are nice and clean.

One of our favorite Montana campgrounds. Nice and quiet. Friendly campground hosts.

It is GOOD thing that the camp host keeps the noise down after 10pm. Many "long term" visitors like to raise the roof after 10 pm. The host is cordial but proactive in keeping the NPS expectation of quiet hours. The noise makers want him removed, but he is DOING HIS JOB very well. Thanks NPS host!!! Rules are rules. Go to the national forest dispersed if you want to party all night long!!!

Campground was SUPER clean, well monitored by camp hosts, and bathrooms were well taken care of.

Probably one of the most beautiful Montana campgrounds we have ever been to. Very quiet, lots of trees, lots of shade. Campground host very friendly, was there daily to see how campers were doing. While not right on the lake, the lake is within walking distance. Just booked our second trip there for this summer.
