Windy on day one, but otherwise wonderful weather. Every day we had pony visits in the morning site 16B. One of which looked very pregnant and layed down nest to our campsite, the 3 other Ponies stood by and waited till she was ready to get up and hour later. We were close to the bathrooms & beach access. There is no water at the sites. No electricity. We used our generator (57DB sparingly, quieter than the national parks requirement). We used Tmobile home internet for wifi access. 4 bars. Beautiful beaches, clean, quiet all you could ask for. Cons: No real showers, cold water and more of a beach rinse off station

Love it there always nice. They keep the sites pretty clear considering all the sand and wind. Been camping here my entire life and still try to go at least once a year.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. The campground hosts were doing and excellent job and were keeping close eyes on all of the campers. The beach was very clean.

The weather was beautiful, shoreline is amazing… off season so light campground attendance… which suited us. A pleasant place with very nice people and spectacular nature! Doesn’t get much better!

Loved the trails for different habits within the park, wild horses, & Delaware deer. Nice bicycle trails too!

We visited in early October and heard about the mosquito issues others have experienced, but we had a breezy evening with light rain occasionally that kept them away. The campsites are well spaced and clean. We did get to see the wild horses by driving around the next morning. Definitely worth the visit.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
