Weather was horrible. Rainy, very windy so it's hard to rate the park. However, one of the paths in our loop #2 to the beach was not even visible. And the camp sites were almost completely covered in sand. Perhaps the host could make a better effort in clearing off the pads for campers.

One of the best "dry" camping areas along the Eastern Seaboard. Wonderful walking, biking and beach opportunities for all ages. Each site setup nicely for a relaxing stay.

We have been doing an Easter camp for 43 years. This year the sites were flooded . We had to build a wooden bridge to get into our camper. Curious why such poor drainage. No assistance offered with this dilemma. Some of our group was allowed to set up in the group site parking lot. Also the generators in the Loop 1 area were so incredibly loud. When might the park consider adding electricity to make the outdoor experience more pleasant? It was louder than being on an inner city street .

It’s all about nature and the elements. If you want any frills (hook ups, warm water, etc) you will not enjoy camping here. But for my family it is magic and we return every year with a hard sided pop up trailer. The wind and rain make tents and soft sides a bit more challenging in the spring.

Excellent campground. Very well kept by their awesome staff of camp hosts and Rangers. There are Compost toilets and cold showers. Bayside sites are beautiful in Fall...and perk plenty of ponies in your campsite.

We really liked the layout of the campground. Much nicer than the state park ambiance. DO heed the warnings about keeping car doors and food locked away. We saw one horse up to his shoulders inside someones van pulling everything out. We also had a small bag of river rocks holding down our outside rug which a horse picked up and bit through. Otherwise it was really cool to have them wander through the campground. I would definitely come back here.

Oceanside one had almost no bugs compared to 2or Bay side camping and except for a brief early morning shower on our last day, the weather was perfect.

Bathrooms were clean and campground host was super nice and helpful. Some campsites swampy from standing water, beachside sites pretty exposed. Horses come through morning and evening.

Camping on the sand at the beach was an unique and fun experience. Listening to the sea waves while sleeping in the tent was heavenly. The bathroom and shower facilities were easily accessible and quite clean. Sufficient space on our campsite and enough separation with our neighbors. Only downside camping in July were the bugs and ferocious mosquitoes, bug spray did not keep them away. That apart it was a great experience and we shall return soon :)

This is a great place to enjoy a quiet couple of days. Ponies, dunes and the beach. Be ready for off the grid living and youll have a great time.
