Pretty disappointed in the National Park - They don't keep up with the place. And all the dump stations were FULL to the brim. We couldn't dump our black and grey and we had to leave the park with our RV and full and try to find somewhere to go and dump. Very disappointed.

This was my second camping visit to Assateague. The bay sites are flat, spacious and clean. I also found the people incredibly friendly and helpful. It was the perfect place for me to restore my soul after writing a few hard chapters in my most recent memoir.SherriALynn.com Author of All My Heroes Have Fur, Fins & Feathers

It was beautiful. Beaches white. Horses grat. Flies thick.

Overall great experience. There were a lot of mosquitos, not family friendly with little kids

My husband and I met his parents here for a camping weekend. The National Seashore and grounds are absolutely stunning. We got lucky with gorgeous weather too. My only complaint is that the toilet/outhouses within the campground itself started to really smell halfway through our trip. We saw the main toilets by the beach getting cleaned during the weekend, but the campground toilets didn't seem to be cleaned during our entire visit. Otherwise, everyone should book this trip at least once. We are seriously considering returning!

This was our first experience in our 20' camper. we were located on loop 28b. The space provided between sites was great. Its right on the bay with close access to everything. We had a clean bath house very near. The only negative was you cannot run a generator on loop B. Everywhere else you can but not here. Not even the ranger could answer why. We are planning on going back again next year as the trip was overall fantastic

great host at top of campgrounds. july 4th weekend is always busy but this was well maintained. calm and away from fireoworks. other guests were nice. great facilities. bathroom need to be pressure washed daily. human feces in one shower but that was a bad guest not the fault of the site. clean beaches

We saw a few horses. The weather wasn't great - obviously not the park's fault. I was disappointed at how little there was to do. We walked all three trails in the morning. We aren't beach sitters, so that left little to do. It was very windy and we decided to not stay both nights of our reservation.
