The campground was nice and quiet, since we were in B loop which didn't allow generators. Most sites were not very private; if they didn't mow all the vegetation in between some of the sites it would be improved. Vault toilets were very clean and the grounds were well maintained. The horses waltz right on into the sites, so definitely put all food away. They will visit while you're eating so keep your eyes peeled! Visit the Marsh Walk and take your time, there's a lot to see. Bring binoculars!

Great park, very bikeable. Campground has plenty of space.

Private site away from the blowing sand. We had a mother & foal wander through the site. No generators in the B loop. Campground host was very nice.

Check in was easy for the campground (RV).
April proved to be a good time to visit- flies not as fierce as their reputation. Lovely areas for kayaking.

Because this was in October there weren't many people around which made it a very relaxing experience. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for the time of year. With all of this and a beautiful island and all of the scenery and animals it was a wonderful time!

Bay Side it was clean, quiet with plent of cover for shade, then on to OSV for privacy and adventure. Thanks for being the best beach in the USA. Especially love the friendly staff and rangers. Thank you for all you do. Thanks for the online booking access and great website. Horses were good hosts so long as humans know their place.

one of the best campgrounds on the east coast. Love it!

The campground had messed up our reservation so we were only able to spend on night. The horseflies were so bad it was hard to enjoy yourself being so bit up. The bathroom facilities were over flowing and foul. Only saw one pony
The second night we drove over to the state campground that was a total 180 difference beautiful facilities perfect beach, way less bugs with the breeeze although a horse did eat half my breakfast!
