It was a very nice experience. Just to see these horses and experience it and to see the horses in their own environment was priceless.

We really enjoyed our stay at Assateague. Our campsite in the Bayside loop was level and private. The only negative was that the living area was situated on the wrong side. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed biking on the wonderful bike paths and through the campground loops. Seeing the horses was a real treat and all of the boardwalks were amazing. The Visitors Center was also very nice and the displays were very informative.

We had a wonderful experience, but we saw too many people feeding the ponies and touching the ponies. That was very upsetting.

We stayed 3 nights and saw horses around our RV each day. Our bike ride was fun also, we saw horses, deer, turkeys and rabbits. We experienced a minor issue with our coach batteries and all systems started shutting down. We had to start the generator during quite time and had to leave in the very early hours of our last night. We would recommend staying at Assateague National Seashore.

Our stay was wonderful. The horses are the best part, next to being able to sit on the beach and enjoy the view. Stores are close by for those things you may have forgot. And of course Ocean City is 10 miles away for some great food (Blue Crabs)

Too many RVs running generators! It felt like camping in a truck stop. Assateague is lovely and the campsites are lovely. More tents, fewer RVs.

The picnic tables, fire pits, and other areas were excellent. Plenty of room for social distancing, too.

We had a great time camping on Assateague Island. Our kids really enjoyed seeing the wild ponies. The mosquitos were not as bad as we expected either. The showers were a little too cold for our kids, but our stay was not long enough to be bothered by it. We look forward to another visit down the road!

We had a bayside camping spot (tent camping), and found the space to be adequate in size and easy to access. Facilities are okay, but it would be nice if there were more than a couple of bathroom stalls and showers for our community of campers. The weather was nice, and it was everything we had hoped for in a relaxing campout. Also, we got to do a couple of the programs offered (clamming and crabbing). These were very nice.
