The beach is beautiful! It is a pleasure to see the wild horses roaming free. Be prepared for no electricity, pit toilets, and cold showers.

Winter car camper here. Its the best time of year to visit! We do bayside and its quiet and provides solitude, if thats what youre looking for. The Park Rangers are just the best.

This was the most amazing place we have ever camped! We will be coming here every year. The horses were amazing and the scenery was spectacular.

Very nice stay. Some ground divots that could be tripping/fall hazards on-site.

Its absolutely beautiful. The seashore is amazing and the wild horses are magical, but camping during the hot season and no access to electric or generators allowed after 10pm is not just uncomfortable in extreme heat, but dangerous. I would suggest that the campgrounds make some accommodations go extreme weather days. Both us and the people nearby to us had to leave the campground early because of the heat. It just got progressively hotter over the days. Waking (or sort of waking since its impossible to sleepIn that heat) to a 93 camper was it for us. Sleeping outside isnt an option either because of the ruthless mosquitoes. Probably best to visit in spring or falls. Skip camping during the hot summer.

Camping site was nice, many lack screening, but mine was great. A band of horses surrounded me in campsite during the night!

One of my favorite places however no power. To think this almost was a huge area of houses. So nice it worked out this way.
