Cool place to camp on the beach, just be ready for an excessive amount of sand getting in/on your gear. It jammed up my tarp poles really good.Small enough to walk around the paved parts in about half a day, some roads dont have a pedestrian shoulder like the ocean loop does but theyre plenty wide.Otherwise it has decent vault toilets, spotty cell service, and Ocean City is nearby

We camped ocean side walk in first timers! Did not disappoint and will do it all over again. Wonderful family experience!!

Great stay. Not too far of a walk from the car to the site. Horse flies are definitely killer, bug spray didn't help a bunch, we will be bringing long pants and shirts next time for the bugs. The ocean was wonderful and the horses were beautiful. We loved how close it was to downtown Berlin and got to experience some of Its charm as well

There was someone on my site the night we arrived nd I ended up havign to pay to stay at a hotel thanks to this. There was no one available to help, no after hours contact number, no rangers anywhere whom I could have asked for another aite for the night while in tow with two babies under two.

Amazing place to stay! Weather was perfect at the end of September, no bugs at all, saw horses and dolphins every day we were there. I highly recommend having a wagon or something to carry stuff through the sand, I wish I had made room to pack that. And we definitely couldn't have made it through the wind without long stakes to tie down our tents and twist into the sand, it is an absolute must. Great place to bring your dogs too! We can't wait to go back

Super beautiful beach camping! Lots of folks reported bugs in reviews but on the oceanside we experienced almost none. We hope to return for a longer stay.

One of the most unique experiences in the country, I'd bet, camping right on the beach with wild horses. Well worth the trip.
