Moon Lake Reservoir was an amazing experience...We loved our stay here. We camped at #19 campground and it was a beautiful camp spot as were all the camp spots throughout! We brought our dogs and several others campers staying here had dogs as well. It was very well maintained and clean. We stayed for 3 nights and we did not want to leave! The reservoir was beautiful and was not crowded at all. It was a short walking distance from our camp spot and the fishing was great! We loved how the campground is surrounded by beautiful lodgepole pines and tons of hummingbirds buzzing around! All the campers that were staying at the campground were very respectful towards others camping there as were we. There is fresh drinking water in faucets throughout the campground that we used to keep our trailer full with needed water. We ran our generator on occasion to keep the battery charged in our trailer. The quiet time starts at 10 pm nightly and we never heard anyone abusing that. There is bathroom facilities with flushing toilets and very clean.Within walking distance in a separately ran resort, called the Moon Lake Resort, I believe it is privately owned, not ran by Rec.gov! We walked over there and they have a small store and beautiful cabins, horse riding, and boat & kayak rentals. We talked to amazing people who were working at the resort. It hd the feeling of the "Good Old Days!" Our overall experience here at the Moon Lake Reservoir was so enjoyable that we WILL be coming back! Well worth it and we had such a pleasurable time.

The camp ground was closed and evacuated because of fires. When will we get a refund?
