Spent 3 nights here and in this spot. Loved every second of it. You get some early morning sunshine and the mid afternoon doesn’t have much shade but the super tall pines surrounding you give great cover.

Excellent, large picnic table (cement) was great and located next to a nice fire pit. The fire pit also has a flip over grate to cook on.

This site has a nice tent pad behind your RV too. Tons of squirrels and a few deer wandering your campsite. They appear well fed and happy. Say hello to “Sammy the Squirrel” if you see him (our son named him.)

The site was easy to back in to and located near fresh water tap and the trash / restrooms. But not close enough to smell either. Probably the nicest campground restrooms we’ve found. There IS a light on the back of the restrooms that a) serves no purpose and b) shines a slight bit in to your spot, reducing “dark sky” viewing.

Also to note, this site is the furthest from the lake but it’s a simple 2 minute drive down to the beach with your water toys.

Bugs were weird and there were some biting flies and some no-seeums. They weren’t horrible but noticeable.

Only detractor (for us) was the fire pit and table were on the opposite side of our trailer door. Backing in, these amenities are on the driver side.

I love the tall trees that surround the campground and the trees provide plenty of shade. The camp spots had plenty of room between each site. The camp hosts were wonderful and so nice. There was a flood that washed out most of the campground two days before we arrived and it was all cleaned up when we got there, they did an amazing job with all the labor they put in. The fire from last year devastated the surrounding mountains, but the campground was not harmed by the fire. Although the lake level was only at 13 percent capacity, that made more room for extra beach to play on. I was neat to see Hummingbirds flying around and Deer roaming around the campground. It was also nice to have flushing toilets and a store nearby to purchase things.
