Camp host was great and site was well maintained. A little out the way from the main interstate but worth the drive.

Great Host, Its a beautiful site, warm water in showers, no electricity, some of the sites are difficult to get into with a 32 footer although booked for this size. Dump station is there, but no flush water, overall the campground is old and not well maintained, however the location is amazing and one of a kind.

Camp host Chuck was awesome. Brought us wood whenever we needed it, and made sure we were taken care of. The site was clean. The shower and restroom facilities were clean and functional. The views were fantastic.

Do not recommend as long is Chuck, a shady liar, is host. Also will not stay at anything managed by American Land and Leisure, if this is the type of person in their employ.

We reserved site 17 a month in advance and Chuck gave away our spot (?!?) to some people in a fancy RV from California. Chuck forced us to move to a way worse spot in the center of the loop, (14) claiming that the view was the same. Uh, it definitely is not. The people who stole our spot could absolutely have fit in site 14. Some thing shady going on here, maybe Chuck is taking bribes or something. We communicated that giving away reserved spots is completely unacceptable. I’ve never seen anything like it in 20+ years camping.

We are tent campers and instead had to look at campers blocking the view of the cliffs. Chuck also tried to scare us about rattlesnakes dating that the date was s arming with them ?!?! Well it wasn’t. Terrible experience; I want a refund as our reservation was not honored.

The camp host, Chuck, made this experience fantastic! He is the best camp host we have ever run into, hands down. He was kinds and welcoming and amazingly helpful. He got us through some scary problems with our camping gear, and he was always present and in charge of the campground whenever anyone came. He made that stay 100% better and I would give him six stars if I could!

Host was friendly and helpful. Showers nice and hot. Enjoyed hiking the trails. Bring plenty of drinking water, theirs wasn't potable when we were there.

Nice campground. Very windy for a while but calmed in the evening.
