We had an OUTSTANDING time at Waveland Park in Havana, AR! The park was very clean when we arrived, and was cleaned everyday that we were there. Leaves were even removed from the roadways. The bathhouses are very clean. The area around the lake was easily accessible for fishing with children, who greatly enjoyed the playground. We felt safe being there. I was worried about someone going into our tent while we were gone, as it was my first time camping, but that didn't happen. The park attendants are so friendly, we couldn't have asked for a better group to stay 12 days with! When storms were predicted, they made sure we knew where a safe place was to go. I would recommend going to the Lodge at Mount Magazine State Park, Blue Mountain Lake, The Ozark National Forest, Blue Mountain Wildlife Management Area, and the Civil War Stone Cave (be prepared to hike).
