We love this campground. Even as full as it was it didn't feel crowded. Love watching the barges go up and down the Arkansas River. Lots to do around Dardenelle and Russellville too.

Great park right on the river. Only negative is noise from the Olin plant that is next door. The noise is 24/7 non stop. The park has a large day use area that is well maintained.

Full hookups did not mean black water hook up at site, not a huge deal theres an easy to use dump station there. Awesome place friendly people.

the site was great but there was a bad problems with ants and it didn't matter how much spray you used they still were present not only at our site but all over the park. why the camp ground wasn't sprayed I don't know?

This campground is extremely small with sites way too close for comfort. Trees are low and it is difficult for a fifth wheel to get into some spots. Most sites have difficult turns to back into and some portions of the road are super narrow. Camp host was great, bathrooms clean. Besides the view, there is nothing special or welcoming about this COE park. it is by far the smallest, closest quartered, least out door space I have seen in a campground.

Riverside sites are difficult to back into. They are almost at a 90 degree angle to street. Otherwise park was great! Nice site, peaceful. Loved watching the River flow by. We did not use bathhouse so I can’t opine on the facilities. Would have preferred a trail to walk but there was a nice park at the public access area to get the dogs some exercise. Would definitely go back.

We loved our stay at Old Post Park! The road makes a perfect manageable circle that our kids could play on, cross and ride bikes around with very little concern for safety! The river is beautiful and the part is within walking/riding distance with multiple playgrounds, picnic tables, a pavillion, basketball courts, tennis courts, disc golf course and soccer fields. Several mountains for hiking within an hour distance from the campgrounds. We live locally and still don't get enjoy all that Old Post has to offer until staying in the camp grounds! Will definitely be back!

Old Post is close to town, but you still feel like you are secluded right on the river. It has a huge park next door. There is a lot to do for everyone.
