We were only there 1 night. We liked the space between the site. Will try & come back for a couple of nights

Small, quiet campground. We didnt hear a single dog! ;) This seems to be a slow paced campground. Loved it. Clean bathhouses. Will be back one day.

I have stayed at the at the Russellville Old Post Road RV park 3 times. The river view, number of empty sites, bath house and proximity to town are the positives for me. They have very nice fire pits, concrete picnic tables, lantern post and some have small awnings. The park along side would be a benefit if you have kids with you. There is also a boat ramp and dump station. Camp host were nice and everything was clean. It was 30 degrees when I was there and was slightly disappointed in the not so hot water in the shower. They also need to remove the rate sign entering the park as it is not correct. All the sites are a $20 per night normalrate. The host told me noon was checkout, but the website showed 3pm.

Grass was overgrown around all sites. Park not well kept, despite what appeared to be several park attendants/long timers. Will return only for convenience of proximity to area attractions.

We set up the reservation online and received the usual confirmation stuff. However the address they gave was not really an address at all rather a vague address that included Old Post Rd site B Dardanell lake. This sent us into a dead end in a neighborhood. No one was available to contact as we arrived at about 5:00 pm. Had to find another option near lake in another campsite.

The view was amazing! Due to the recent storm our tree was broken with debris around our campsite. The only bad thing was that the grass was not mowed, so it made it inconveniently itchy when going in and out of our tent. Overall a good place to camp out.

Friendly staff. Clean, level site. Quiet & scenic. Good showers: nice not to have timed water supply. Great experience. Enjoyed visitor Center display. Kudos to Corp of Engineers!Richard Kirkman, LTC Ret., USACE

Campground was well-maintained! The bathroom was warm which was nice. The camp attendant / host also had some great local recommendations!

The check in could only be done online. The camp host, who was very nice, just stood there watching me make the reservation online on my phone.I broke up camp at 10 pm because I could not stand the noise (from the dam?) And the stench from what I think is a paper factory.

Our campsite was right on the river with the dam upstream. Quiet in the evening, not many trails to explore. Its next to a recreation area with playground, soccer and BBall field as well as a disc golf course. No maps provided or any information. Price is right for power and electric hookups.

We were there for 6 days and it was adequate. The biggest issue were the showers - they only stay on for about 3 seconds when you push the button so you have to constantly keep pushing it. Also, it takes forever for the water to get slightly warm, and it’s a bug unheated room so it’s overall a very cold experience. Otherwise, it had what we needed. Beware it does get quite windy!

Should tell everyone it was a sorry experience so they might not book a stay there and leave it open for me but just can't do that. Really enjoyed our stay there. Our spot was perfect and the area kept clean was impressed. Bathroom and shows were clean and well kept to.
