The park was easy to find and beautiful. The camp host recommended sights for us to see and we were very pleased with our visit.

We love this place. Quiet, well-kept, right on the river, well-maintained. We were in B-20 and there was a serious ant invasion. Great place, but you may want to bring ant protection, at least in B-20.

Nice park, large shaded sites. Quiet. Close to town of needed. Excellent cell service. There was one bath house for the whole park, and it WAS NOT centrally located. We happened to be in the furthest site from the bathhouse, and it's a hike. The worst part for us was the lack of BBQ grills in the campground. They had old, huge dilapidated ground fire ring grills, but you would need a stack of fire wood to use those, if they were functional. So we had to hike a quarter mile to the 'city park' area where typical BBQ grills were provided.Overall I would recommend this park, especially for kids with bikes and maybe for a convenient stopover for a might or two. It is not really a VaCa destination, at least mot for me.

Had a wonderful time with family. Had some bad weather but can't blame that on the park. Got to see the eagle land and take off. Saw a new-born fawn, just 2 hours old.

It was clean. Had a slight issue of security because of an adjoining park. There were constantly people walking/jogging thru the campground and didnt feel the safest since they werent registered guests. This was day and night.

Enjoyed our stay by the river. Saw several deer including a doe and her fawn and a red fox. The only problem we had was when we called to make the reservation the first employee told us a particular sight was not available. When we looked on line it was available. So, we called the second time and got a different employee and she said it was not available. We asked her to look again because online it was. She recanted and said it was and got our previous reservation moved to the desired location. Host was very helpful and friendly. The dump station was a bit tight and did not have easy access to water hydrant to rinse out our tank. We would have had to hook up a 25 foot hose to reach.

The park is nice.
The only bad experience was when they started mowing the grass at 7am.

Very peaceful campground. Large lots so not real close together. Some of the lots are on the river. There is a very large city park next door where there are many activities for the family. There is basketball, a playground, you can ride bikes, fish, etc. They keep a gate closed between the park and the campground. There is a small area you can ride your bike through.
