Great campsite, clean, well organized, quiet. Plenty of room to play, and right on the river.

Very nicely kept park with a great view of the river. Our spot (A14) had a slight incline but flattened out on the pad with a slight tilt away from the picnic area (on the trailers left). Water and electric were right by the pad, but allowed plenty of room for our 2 ft. Pullout. The picnic area was large and was concrete with a brick ledge around the perimeter. Very shady. This spot had an electrical junction box at the back behind the pad about 7 or 8 ft, but allowed plenty of room between for our 30 ft rig's 4 ft overhang. The nearby highway is high and over the dam, a little noisy at times, but got quieter after dark. Overall, Nice place for an overnight. We'll stay there again. Camp host was nice, we Felt safe and town was right there. Coming from I-54 Google Maps took us on a route of busy left turns with no signals into traffic. Might check the route before hand.

Park was excellent and clean. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend and unfortunately, it rained pretty much the whole time so wasnt to able to get out much. I was in A14. Site was clean and very well laid out with new concrete sitting area. The site is somewhat hard to back into on that side due to a privacy fence close to the road. I have a 30 bumper pull so wasnt too bad for me. The guy next to me in A15 backed in a 40 plus Paradigm with some difficulty but made it. Sites on the A side have a higher slope than it appears but not a problem. Really awesome views with the dam and barge lock. Will definitely be back!!!

What a beautiful park and campground! We were just passing through and wished we could have stayed for a few days. We arrived after dark and woke to sunrise with a mist over the river; truly one of the most beautiful campgrounds I've ever seen. Very clean, well appointed, everything we needed and expected in working order. The dump station was clean and easy to use as well. The camping spots were spaced out nicely and we just got lucky and had a perfect unobstructed view of the river out of the back of our camper. Picture Perfect!

We loved our stay at Toad Suck. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay. Richard and Becky were the attendants on duty and they were so friendly and welcoming after our long drive from Oklahoma. Thanks!

We had chosen a site online in A loop - A14 - looked level from the pic & said it would fit our 41' class a motorhome. Upon arrival & seeing our selected site, there was no way we could get level in the site. Would've needed to raise the front end around 2 feet! The delightful woman in the office offered me 3 sites to look at (it was a weekend, so very busy!) and one of them worked just great. She was very helpful. I would give an excellent rating but the online pic of the site was very deceiving. The gentleman (her husband?) couldn't understand why we couldn't put it on blocks and have our wheels dangling. Wheels should never be off the ground. The jacks are for stabilizing, not for total weight bearing. It is a delightful campground & we noted sites that would better suit us. We will stop again on our yearly travels from PA to AZ and back.
