Great place to relax and visit. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here several times.

Stayed at Toad Suck from April 14 to April 27 in campsite A8. Overall my experience was good at the park except for the following. The area around the picnic table stood in water every time it rained (8 days of the 14) and it would take most all day for the area to drain due to the fact there was a small block wall around the area with no place for the water to drain except between the blocks. My 5th wheel camper has a backdoor entrance and after parking the camper there was a good 12 inch step down at the edge of the retaining wall and the ground sloped away. If the camper door had been in the middle of the trailer as most newer trailers are the the door would have opened and the steps would be on the edge of the picnic retaining wall with about a ten inch step down to the concrete. While camped there was two pit bulls in campsite A-9 that was allowed to run loose except when the park ranger came through during the day but at night they roamed freely. I appreciate the fact that the COE has made repairs to most all of the campsites but seriously consider finding a COE employee that has camping experience to look at the campsites and suggest changes to the camper pads and around the picnic areas. Would like to see the COE address these issues and hopefully make repairs to this campsite. Overall had a good time while at Toad Suck and plan on returning next spring but will scout the area prior to making my next reservation there. And for anyone reading this, make plans to dine at Toad Suck Bucks, definitely the best steaks around this area.

Beautiful park with lots of great fishing locations. I loved staying on Loop A, though loops A-C all seem clean & well maintained. Also, the facilities are all single use shower/bathroom combos which is awesome! :D
