This small and simple campground is such a quiet and beautiful place to relax. I enjoyed coming here as a kid, with my grandparents, and now Im bringing my own kids. My sister does the same and it has become our new summer tradition. We love it.

We came to the area for the crystal digs and had a great time. The water pressure as great and the park was very quite nights. Electric was good no issues, only one store in Mt Ida but they have everything you need .

the campgroung is awesome. the bathrooms are super clean and very nice, way better than any other state campground i have been. but the whole reservation thing is absolutely ridiculous. It took me 3 days to figure out how to make a reservation on the website, no one would help me with it and the attendants at the camp groung insisted that i could not book the reservation from the camp ground and i had to be completely off the property. and the phone number to reserve a camp site is useless and the worst thing is all the camp ground workers know the phone number doesnt work and they were not helpful with the website either.

Must have been a busted pipe or someone left the faucet open above us and there was an issue with one of the toilets that took our water pressure away. It got fixed the next day but the river was still running from up above us.
