We always love camping at Tar Camp Park. It is well maintained and usually quiet.

This was a great little spot to stop and camp! Their bathrooms are so nice! I hope they stay that way. We camped at D21 and it was a great spot.

This place was so peaceful and pretty. I cant wait until the bathroom gets fixed in section D though! We will be coming back and bringing friends.

Very peaceful and beautiful place to camp. Enjoyed seeing all the barges coming up and down the river.

Our stay at Tar Camp was wonderful and peaceful. We booked an extra night so we wouldn't have to break camp in the rain. Our fire pit was so full of trash which we did not use. It would be so beneficial to have a bathroom in the D section and a working street light. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thank you!

Park was in need of TLC. There was not a gate attendant as non had bided for the job and the park was not well maintained. It is well suited for bank fishing.

We love this park and go as often as possible. They have really done a good job repairing this park after the flood, however Iām surprised they tore down and did not rebuild the bath house at the far end of the park.

no one was at the check in shack , no clear instructions on how to check in , large rocks on the bank made you lose a lot of hooks and sinkers , camp ground was very nice and loved the roof over the picnic tables , all and all give it a 6 out of 10

Nice clean park and close to home for weekend getaways. The RV pads are very nice and enlarged beyond the picnic camp table.Nice breeze off of the river made extremely hot days bearable.

Sure wish they rebuilt the bathroom at the end of D section. Otherwise, they spent a lot on concrete. Love this park and we are happy they are open again.
