Great spot - sites are close, but no issues from that. Facilities are really nicely kept, and you can easily hop on some trails without having to drive out from the campsite. There will be some road noise, so bear that in mind.

Short visit (one night), but enough to get a feel of the area. There was a little river running next to the campground, a park amphitheater, picnic table, restrooms with showers, water, and electric. No dishwashing sink. First time to Hot Springs National Park, and first time camping in Arkansas. We walked a trail from the campground called Gulpha Gorge over the mountain (and across a road) to connect with another trail and then to the Honeysuckle Trail which ended up over in the historic Bathhouse Row district. When we got to Bathhouse Row (yes, there are still a few bathhouses there that you can go to for bathing), we briefly went to the visitors center of Hot Springs National Park (taking turns because we had our dog), and also saw the steaming hot pools and fountains in town. There is one fountain that is like a continuously running sink with hot water flowing, and they let you fill up bottles/cups from it to drink the hot mineral water. (Drinking the hot water was actually really nice after getting rained on).

Overall a nice park. There is a lot of hiking, which we love. Unfortunately there is a lot of traffic noise being so close to the main road. But we will be back!

Nice site close to the water. Its off of a busy road so will hear cars driving by all night

Overall very pretty sites. Nice space and great for tent camping. The bathrooms were clean and the creek was very pretty and a great activity. Lots of hikes in the area. Also less than 10 minutes away from the national park and downtown. My only problem which wasn't really a problem there was no ranger or ranger building. If there was it was not clearly marked. But overall beautiful site and will go back if I get a chance.
