Nice campsite and clean facilities. About 1/3 of the sites at Joplin have been improved by the Corp of Engineers. The balance of the sites all have electricity. Not all sites have direct access to water, though there is water available to fill RV tanks and jugs for tent campers. The COE has plans to finish improving the other sites, just don't have funding at this time per conversation with COE staff on 6/7/22.

We love Joplin but this last visit we were a little disappointed with the upkeep. Campsites needed to be mowed and the bathrooms werent clean.

What a BEAUTIFUL and well kept park. We loved our spot.

Clean and site 8 was great, level view of the lake and also a short trip to Hot Springs National Park.

Beautiful area, bathrooms are well kept, regular patrol. The only major negative is the 4pm checkout time. I had to wait till nearly 4:30pm to start setting up, which resulted in setting up in the dark.
