We only stayed for one night, before heading to the Ozarks, but this was a wonderful campground. Clean bathrooms and showers, a nice playground for the kids, and a beautiful view of the Arkansas River. We were also near a bridge, and though it might annoy some people, we enjoyed listening to the trains go by, as well as seeing the bridge lit up at night. Overall, a pretty area, and a nice place to get out of the woods for a bit and grab a shower. Not to mention the price! You can't beat $10 for a tent site!

Easily accessible across the river from Ozark. However Aux Arc is very prominently a facility for RVs and not tents. There was only one other tent camper besides myself. It still offers amenities such as clean restrooms and showers. Traffic noise and a train keep it from being considered quiet .

Showers were hot, tent site was good (A3). My only gripe would be that there was a group that had a party almost every night and 1 we werent invited but 2 they were up well past quiet time and no enforcement.

Worst site I stayed ever. The park in general is nice but the primitive site A03 should not be on on the list to be reserved or should be charged $10. Stray cats are everywhere keeping my dog crying all night long. They would sleep right outside the tent and my dog could not stop sleep which kept me awake too. Grass is not cut and the smell was just awful from idk what, maybe dead animals. Overall, if youre gonna camp here, make sure you get the standard electric sight cuz they seemed to well take care of those sites. I really hope they would get rid of these non-electric sites or start taking care of it if theyre going to charge people to stay there. It was a night of horror and I couldnt wait for the sun to come up so I could get out there. Never coming back.
