Great campground on Arkansas River. Near Dam. Could hear the roar of water rushing thru it but actually lulled me to sleep. Occasional train rolled thru as well as barges going thru lock. Clean park with lots of great sites. Cute little town of Ozark very close. Also went to wineries in near by Altus. Definitely will be back

This park is clean and well kept. I love being beside the river and watching the barges go through the locks. The attendant was friendly and helpful. We have come to this park a few times now and are returning in a few days. It is one of my favorites. There is not much in the way of restaurants nearby, however, so be sure to bring food. :)

Loved this campground. We got to see a couple of Tug boats with barges go thru the locks. The park was clean and careful with spreading the covid.

This has become our “go to” location for simple getting away from home camping. Clean, level campsites with a great view. Love the covered picnic table and even enjoy the train which goes by several times per day across the river. Nothing but praise for this COE campground.

Very easy check in. Mostly clean site, but had to dig out the fire pit. great view of the dam and could hear the water running over it.
