Loved the tree cover. Sites are spacious. Electric was clean and steady. Water pressure was good.

The park was full, but we were lucky enough to snag our favorite site for our third getaway at Aux Ark. great riverside experience, which included beautiful fall views, wildlife, barges, and trains. The trains are long and loud, with the sound amplified by the rock bluff across the river. But, watching them brings a sense of pride. America was built on the rivers and the rails, and Aux Ark Park gives us a glimpse of that. Thanks to the Corp of Engineers for building and maintaining this park. The facilities are older, but clean and well stocked. And, as well as doing a good job, the park hosts and cleaning host are friendly and welcoming, and helpful to answer any and all questions. We are looking forward to our next visit!

We enjoyed a tree-shaded campsite right on the rivers edge, within sight of the dam. Watching the barges was a treat! The breeze off the water was wonderfully cool, even on near 100 degree days. Hookups (water and electric) were easy and quick for our small class B motor home. The site was level, and though woodsey, was clean and well maintained. Bathhouses and restroom facilities were also clean and well maintained. The dump station was easy to access, and near enough to the bathhouse to wash up afterward. The only issue was a very active railway line across the river with the sound being amplified by the (beautiful) rocky bluff. The fresh air and breeze must have calmed me, because my husband said I slept through at least 3 trains in the night! We loved it! And with the ease of registering online, we are already planning our next mini-vacation to Aux Ark Park!

The grass needed mowing (a week ago)! The bathrooms are not well maintained. People ( not camping) are driving through the park at ALL hours, yet it is supposed to be closed after dark. It was just okay but I dont think I would pay $60 to stay there again.

The park is older but so beautiful and the ppl were so helpful. Especially Richard the attendant. We had a hydraulic problem and he went out of his way to help us. We will always stay in the ACOE parks as long as they are available. Most affordable & beautiful. Its the kind of place you would buy yourself.

Beautiful campground located along the Arkansas River. One of our mainstays if we are traveling this direction. Only complaint is they only have one dumpster in the late fall/winter and it's located at the gate. That's along walk if you don't pull an extra car or have a bike.

Great place to camp, very easy going folks camp here. Never had any issues at all in the ten times I have camped there in the last two years.
