Campground was really nice. The camping spots were very large and lots of shade. I really enjoyed the privacy. The bathhouses need a little attention the showers for the men are kind of outdated. But overall we had a good experience here. Not much cell service with Metro

D loop has less traffic since it is in the back. Stairs next to campsite to access river. Site reasonably close to the bathroom. We love D loop!

JFK has always been an easy choice for our family. It's a beautiful campground, very well taken care of with good space for each campsite and the amenities needed readily available.
JFK has walking/hiking trails through the woods and by the creek, leading to the river.
It is, of course, very busy with fishing action on the Little Red, as well as the trout fish hatchery on site. Even with all the action it still stays fairly quiet. Playgrounds for the kids, a fishing dock for the land locked, a boat ramp, a pavilion for group activities, and decent bathroom facilities are all nice extras to find after you speak to the friendly folks at the front gate.
We'll keep coming back to this one as long as we camp or fish.

This site is delightful! It was quiet and peaceful, despite quite a few visitors. The only distraction was cars continually driving through the campground even though they were not statying there. Could not figure it out. Bathhouse was clean and well maintained.

Fabulous Park
The fishing was excellent. The Park is busy but still lovely.
Be sure to go to the trout hatchery in the park.
This may be the most beautiful spot in the Southeast US

Beautiful campground, wonderful for hiking (Collin Creek Trail), easy access to Little Red River and Greers Ferry Lake.

We stayed at campsite D7. The spot was very shady, had plenty of room for our tent and not to far from bathroom
