I was only here for one night while moto camping. It was a pleasant experience. Showers in D section was great. I got in late and left early so it was as good as expected. Thanks to the attendants who work to keep our parks across America clean and safe.

We stayed on Loop D. If you want to be secluded a bit more, this is the spot. The showers were OK. The sinks in the men's room (and I assume the women's as well), were press faucets, so you have to hold the water on with one hand while trying to wash with the other... so inconvenient. Also, the pressure was way high on the sink so I several times got water all down the front of me. I hope they will consider changing this type of faucet out. I know it's to conserve water, but it's overkill in this case. If you have an RV with a sink, use it. Also, be sure you book a site with water (not all of the sites in any loop have water hook up). We made the mistake of not getting a site with water hookup. You will want to visit the fish hatchery and the dam. The visitor's center is worth the stop to get some of the history of the area. Also some good shopping in Heber Springs.

Enjoyed our stay as usual. This is one of the most peaceful parks weve stayed in. The camp hosts are extremely friendly. Looking forward to our next visit

We have been coming to this park for three years now and will continue to do our annual trip here every year. The bathrooms are kept clean and have hot water and the scenery and the fishing is great as well! We almost had the entire park to ourselves due to the weather and timing I assume. Cant wait till next year!

The park attendant was very helpful. A wonderful park at the mouth of the lake. Wonderful to experience the trout fishing along the bank of the Red River!

Very relaxing and quiet; several different trails to walk on both sides of the dam. You can even visit the fish hatchery and the visitors center to find out more about the local area plus the river and dam.
