Another great camping, fishing, and hiking trip on the Little Red River at JFK Park. The weather was great, the fishing was excellent, and it was so enjoyable to see all of the wildlife present in the campground and on the trails. Cant wait to go back in the spring!

Great camping and fishing trip. Site B-1 is one of our favorite places to camp, it is an easy site to back our camper into and it is close to the river. There are lots of birds around, especially if you put up a bird feeder or two. Deer often come down the hill behind the campsite and browse the area for acorns. The fishing was excellent, we caught several really nice eating trout while we were there. The only downside of this trip were the many turkey vultures that hung around the area. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks.

When we arrived there was someone at the site we reserved. I called the camp host and she promptly came to the site. Turned out, there was a family who just showed up to camp and didnt know you needed a reservation. Instead of them moving, I asked the host if we could move to another site and She agreed and put us at another camp site. We really enjoyed our stay and even with someone at the camp site we reserved, the camp host was very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely camp there again!

Excellent camping trip! The campground wasnt very crowded, the weather was variable, and the fishing was superb. Site B-1 is close to the river and it isnt too close to other campsites. In addition, we had plenty of birds to watch (we put out two bird feeders) and we had several deer visit the campsite; they were interested in the bird seed dropped on the ground. I was able to identify 20 different species of birds. We cant wait to go back and experience being at one of our favorite campgrounds.

This is a great location for camping, fishing, and hiking. It is conveniently located near the town of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Greer's Ferry Lake, and several nice hiking trails. The public showers and restrooms are kept clean and the campground itself is tidy and nicely maintained. Electrical hook-ups are available at all campsites and water connections are available at Areas B, C, and most of Area D. Sewer connections are not available, but there is a nice dump station at the entrance of the campground.
