This is our FAVORITE place to camp! The only negative is that you only have electricity but even with that the view is amazing and worth doing without full hook ups The bath house is always clean.

We love camping at Heber Springs Park. We always camp by the water and love the view. We have always been tent campers and love that the bathhouse is so well kept.

Its very sad to see a campsite where no one is occupying and no tax payer can show up and pay for that site. The gate personnel should be able to take payment in some situations. Overall the reservation system is terrible; when you have to reserve 6months in advance not knowing what the weather will be like or whether your personal life allows you to make the commitment. If you cant make it then the campsite is setting vacant. Gate attendants have no function if they cant take payment for sites. Thank you
