We love camping here . It is just to hard to get a camping spot . People with animals have no respect for the campground or other peoples camping spots. They walk their dogs and let them poop on someone elses spot and just leave it. We watched one couple walking their dogs walk onto an empty campsite and let their dogs poop on the gravel and walk off . The trees need trimmed off more . The campers are way bigger than they were in the seventies. A tree punched two holes in our roof trying to get through the campground .

This was our first visit and we loved it. Great views and plenty of room. The only negative is the shower house and water are too far away and the vault toilets are gross.

The core of engineers will not take the time or money to update the camping sites for current day campers . They are still set up for the 1960s campers . A lot can be done if they would just spend some time and money that the people pay to upgrade camping spots and or build more . More people are camping now more than ever.
