The sites near to the lake D section were full with campers but know one staying in them until weekends. Come to find out it is mostly people that live close by and just put camper on sites to secure for the weekend. That is not right for the people traveling through for a few days we get stuck back in the woods with out view. Also they allow boats cars, etc... to park on grass which in the rules and regulations none of this should be. We have been camping there for 30 years and it is a beautiful area but myself and a few other out of town people are very upset the way they are letting people pretty much just park there campers all week. Heber Springs Rec is always an enjoyable experience. Quiet park, good campsites and facilities with the town only a few minutes away should we need anything

The reason for my poor rating. We had to leave 5 days early due to weather. I tried accessing my account to notify and receive a refund. The information of regarding my reservation was not available anywhere on your site. I would like a refund for the 5 nights that were not used.. It also prevented the site from being rented to another camper. I am very disappointed in this. I would like some communication about this. Thank you in advance for your consideration and response.
