One of our favorite campgrounds. Clean bathrooms with showers, easy access to sites. Bridal Veil Falls is nearby, hiking trails, boating, and overall a beautiful area and clean lake to enjoy.

Rained most of the time we were there but we needed the rain. Was glad to get it. Also cooled the midsummer hot temps and the lake is beautiful rain or shine.

The sites near to the lake D section were full with campers but know one staying in them until weekends. Come to find out it is mostly people that live close by and just put camper on sites to secure for the weekend. That is not right for the people traveling through for a few days we get stuck back in the woods with out view. Also they allow boats cars, etc... to park on grass which in the rules and regulations none of this should be. We have been camping there for 30 years and it is a beautiful area but myself and a few other out of town people are very upset the way they are letting people pretty much just park there campers all week. Heber Springs Rec is always an enjoyable experience. Quiet park, good campsites and facilities with the town only a few minutes away should we need anything

The reason for my poor rating. We had to leave 5 days early due to weather. I tried accessing my account to notify and receive a refund. The information of regarding my reservation was not available anywhere on your site. I would like a refund for the 5 nights that were not used.. It also prevented the site from being rented to another camper. I am very disappointed in this. I would like some communication about this. Thank you in advance for your consideration and response. With the current reservations you know where youre going when and the people are courteous. This park is close to Heber Springs so it isnt far if need anything. A good overall camping experience for the family.

campground is clean, sites are nice and well kept, town (stores/restaurants) not far. NO water or sewer hook ups ...must fill RV water tanks when you enter. No air in the bathhouses- might as week bath in the lake in the summer :(
