We enjoyed our stay very much.

Campground was very nice. We arrived when gate personnel were on days off, due to not receiving our day pass we were unable to go into other parts of the lake ( truly not many of those areas anyway). If we ever go thru that direction again we will stay here.

I love camping at Dam Site in Heber Springs. My only complaint is that I wish the restrooms by loop N was updated like the ones at other Corp ran parks. The floors could use a coat of paint and the doors need a handle. I am at a park right now and the restrooms are in excellent condition. Also start charging for no shows maybe people will start canceling and holding sites they don’t use.

The campsites were large and clean. Having water, electricity and a pull-through site made it all the more convenient. Met some good people in the campground, as well.
