I stayed in J. The showerhouse/bathrooms in J were nasty every evening. J7 is a great campsite. Cell service was spotty but was able to send texts. The bathrooms should be cleaned every day this time of year even during the week.

Our site number was J07. To be fair we arrived later than check in time, it was starting to rain and well it was very very dark. It was very hard to get into this particular site for the above mentioned reason but also because someone had parked their boat in such a way it was making it hard to back into our site. One of the most surprising issues was no water hook ups. I'm sure I just overlooked this fact but we need full service and this was disappointing. There is a lake and there are optimal viewing areas but of course we weren't at one of those areas. Couldn't see the lake for the forest. Many of the sites are extremely shaded. We had a 1 night reservation and well... we didn't even unhook. :(

Nice beach and shaded spots. Bathhouses were small and shower space limited. Made for long lines to get a shower or use the restroom.

We had a great time swimming. They were doing maintenance activities during our stay that put a bit of a damper on our trip.

I needed a quiet, peaceful time away from everything so I could unwind and decompress. I got that with my Monday through Friday week. I shared the swim area with only 2 others. I spent hours in my hammock reading and was able to take warm showers each night without having to wait in line. I felt like I had the entire campground to myself. It was great.

We had a lot of fun here. We camped in J campsites which are electric only but a very close to the lake. If you bring a motorcycle, the exit gate won't sense them and open. You have to either wait on a car to come through or go around the gate on the grass.
