The campground is in need of an update. The sites are not very long for most modern equipment. Sewer at the site wood also be welcome. However the staff was very friendly and helpful and seemed to take great pride in the park.

This is Avery quiet and beautiful lake front campsite. Checking in was very easy and the camp host was very helpful. It was a great place to say a few nights to break up our drive from Austin, TX to Hernando, MS.

Reasonable rates, quiet guest, clean grounds, plenty of trees, and clean water. What more do you need?

They need to clean up the down trees and thin out the dead ones so nobody gets hurt plus it helps cut down on the ants and bugs . Also cut some of the undergrowth down. The bathrooms need to be tore down then replaced with new more updated with lights and heaters in winter time. This is not just at iron mountain either. Need to level camping spots with dirt or new payment. We pay to camp so the money needs to be spent on repairs and updates so people will want to continue camping there. It is getting unsafe to camp there because of this.
