Park almost empty on a weekday in late October. Hiking and biking was fun . Will return and stay longer than one night (was on long trip)

The campgrounds and facilities are great. The only downside is that a group of early 20s kids decided to have a party two nights I was there. They were very noisy and playing music until 10:30, when I and another camper both asked them to abide by the rules for quiet time after 10:00. They toned it down but didnt stop. They had 4 tents on their site and there were 6 or 7 vehicles coming and going until midnight or after. I talked to a couple of them the following morning, and although they were apologetic they were noisy again the second night. The other camper that asked them to be quiet the first night, left his campsite early after the second noisy night. Well, the occasional noisy campground is to be expected. But these folks were really disruptive. I didnt see a park ranger until the third morning, and the trouble group mostly disbanded during the days.

Its a great campground. Registration attendant was super helpful and so friendly. It is an inexpensive place to camp so I think you will be disappointed if you come in expecting a resort-like experience. If you are looking for a campground that is nice, quiet, peaceful and allows you to relax and reconnect with nature youre in the right place. Clean, well-maintained bathhouse. I only used it the first night but it was very nice with large shower stalls and heated water. I stayed in site 31 which was fairly level. Electric only sites so I recommend you fill your fresh water tank before you get here unless you have a 100+ feet of water hose. They offer water onsite but you need a lot of water hose to access. Theres a dump station near the registration station. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is there isnt a swim beach. I swam while here but its a challenge to get to the lake. Convenient location to the extensive mount biking trails. I will definitely return to this campground.

Great campground in a beautiful setting. Very well maintained. Very close to the excellent MTB trails. One of my favorite places to camp.
