Quick one night stay. Site was level as advertised with easy access. Facility was clean and appropriately maintained. Hope to return for a longer stay.

Terrible unlevel and small pads. Worst COE campground we've stayed at. Sites haven't been cared for in long time. Only thing good was the bathrooms were cleaned regularly.

wish it could be open during winter season dec- feb ... not everyone gets to make reservations at state park they are always full .. THAT IS WHY WE CAMP AT CORP OF ENGINEERS CAMPGROUND

Peaceful and mostly quiet park with beautiful views. No water at sites, just electric. My one concern were the campers who appeared to be homesteading out there by the looks of all the vehicles, the dog tied up to an igloo plastic dog house and the cords of wood seems they had settled in for a long winters stay. I suspect they are using this campground as their hunting camp by the looks of all the ATVs parked along the road. They had attached their water hose and a Camco filter to the fresh water supply located by the bathhouse so it was inaccessible to any other campers.

We were at site 18. There was good distance between us and other campers. Tent pad was smaller than expected and the firepit did not have an attached grill to it, but there is a grill that is separate from the fire pit. So no issue there. Bathroom is decent and the showers run hot with high pressure. Also the walk to the bathroom and showers from this site isn't too far which was nice. We did the White Trail, which was great for a moderate hike. Plenty of elevation changes, but not too difficult. The weekend we were there, it was not loud at all. Around nighttime most people went into their tents or RVs, so no noise complaints. We will come back here again. Surprisingly to me, cell phone reception was great at the site and on the trails. Maybe a little too great. Made putting the phone down a little more difficult if you want to escape technology for a little bit. But no problem there really.

Great views, nice quiet loop where the kids can explore, 13 minutes from Hwy 7 beach access. Our water pump wasnt working on the camper, but we were 20 feet from a spigot, so we made it work! (Site 18)
