Normally its a nice place to stay. Despite It being winter and the water was shut off. No time to go camping in a tent, we were not prepared. Humidity was so high we froze. Someone tried to steal our kayak. White car. Beware of thieves. Bathrooms clean and no place to dump trash. We will be back when weather is pretty.

Overall good. Trash dumpster over flowing isnt good. For the most part bathrooms are clean.

Awesome time loved exploring the nearby towns got to enjoy the campground loved this spot was next to the bathrooms very convenient unfortunately we wasn't able to have a fire due to a fire ban but all the same we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful campground with lovely pine trees and lots of shade. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean for most COE campgrounds I have been to. The vibe at the campground was quiet and laid back. It appeared to be a lot of people there for the trout fishing. This particular site was right next to the bathrooms. The issue with that was that there is a light on the exterior of the bathroom that shines directly into the tent and by default there is a lot of foot traffic of people using the bathroom so I wouldn't pick this spot again. Every spot seemed to have a large flat space to put up a tent which was great! Directly across from the campsite was a path down to the river but it was steep and slippery so not good if you have any mobility issues. We also visited the swim beach area which was incredibly steep to get down to. I didn't like the actual beach but it had a nice playground and the picnic areas were very nice.

Im an avid camper, trout fisherman and an Arkansas resident. Im sorely disappointed with this reservation. *You must release the perfect size fish: 13-16. * The Park Ranger does not work in the evenings, so you must tolerate the homeless and drug users sleeping at empty sites. Beautiful area but not conducive to the public.

Beautiful campground. Path to river was just across from our campsite an easy 1 minute walk. This campsite was one of the last ones left probably because it is close to the bathroom and less shaded. In the fall, it actually was still shaded well since the sun was lower in the southern sky and we actually were thankful for being close to the bathrooms. They were clean and well supplied. Great place to camp and trout fish!

Bathrooms were set up nice and were clean only complain was that the sites didnt have water. Not a major issue I just wasnt aware until I arrived.

The bathrooms were horrible after the first day. Never cleaned again. Other than that a nice park

No dumpsters in campground. Dump station was closed. No map available at check in. No campground host. Most COE campgrounds are excellent, this one is sub par.

Part of the park was flooded when I got there due to all the rains. My site (24) was slightly slope so the water just ran through it. Conveniently located near Eureka Springs. The bathrooms were okay. I didn't care for the shower heads and all 4 bathrooms smelled of cigarettes. The water connection at the dump station was angled at an L shape and there were no threads to attach my hose so it was basically worthless for tank flushing. Dumpster was located in the other loop of the park so that was very inconvenient. Sites only had electric hookups. Overall it was clean and an affordable place to stay near ES.

Rarely saw a park attendant. Concerns on who to contact if any problems arose.
