Damsite River Campground is one of the few campgrounds that are open year round in Northwest Arkansas. The winter season is from November 1st to March 31st. During this time period the water at the individual campsite is shut off to prevent damage from pipes freezing. There is a potable water source at the park entrance to fill your fresh water tanks not far from the dump station. For the same reason the only restrooms that are open is the shower house in the Pines and the vault toilet by the boat ramp. The volunteers that take care of this campground do an excellent job.

It would be better if we had water hook up. Also the breaker kept flipping off when trying to use our water pump. You should check that breaker.

The campground was beautiful and very well kept, the only issue was there were no dumpster’s anywhere.

Beautiful campground. My only suggestion for improvement is that the website is not great for selecting a campsite for a large RV. The dimensions are confusing and not accurate. Also, many sights are not level and make leveling your RV challenging.
