Bathrooms were clean. Only one shower had hot water. Mowing all around our tent on Monday morning was terrible. Otherwise, beautiful sunsets and peaceful.

We were at Site 48 and camp in a tent. This spot was so very nice, like luxury tent camping on a small island on your own private half acre spot. There was shade all day, and the showers/restroom were just steps away, and there's so much space around the site with only Site 47 nearby. I wouldn't recommend either site if you have an RV or need to back a trailer in. There's a long drive into a "T" with 48 on the left and 47 on the right. Our neighbor managed to back their trailer into 47 but it was a challenge. Both sites really should be just for tents, but if you are proficient at backing up a trailer, you'll appreciate the shade available at either site. Most of the sites around the perimeter of the island have very little shade but many are pull through spots for RVs. The restrooms where good though there's no hand soap or sanitizer at the sinks. The women's ran out of tissue paper, but we came prepared. Showers are good, water is warm and the restrooms stayed clean during our 3 night stay. There are power outlets at each of the sinks. We never did see where to fill up water jugs but brought plenty of water with us. Overall, having site 48 (with a tent) made this one of the best campgrounds we've ever been to; certainly in the top 3.

I have camped here the past 30 years or so. It is a great place to host your children and grandchildren. We swim, kayak, roast marshmallows and make memories.

This was our first camping trip with both our girls (2 years old and 4 month old). It was the most relaxing trip we’ve taken since having kids. The swing set was close to our campsite so our toddler could play. The swim area was refreshing in the heat of the afternoon. Our campsite was shaded by the nice big trees and the covered picnic table allowed us to set up our cooking/eating station with lots of room to spare. The facilities were clean and well taken care of. We can’t wait to go back!
