Great campground and sites! Beautiful clear lake for swimming. Sites 28 and 29 share a driveway and would be very close neighbors if you aren't traveling together. Based on previous reviews we knew this and booked both sites. The campground is about 20 minutes from Eureka Springs.

I arrived to find the site was not a tent site as I had requested. There wasnt enough flat area to set up my tent. I went to the host and asked for his help. He listed the others sites that might be available but that he couldnt make the reservation. I didnt have internet connection. So I couldnt make a new reservation and I could stay at the park at site #29. Id like a refund. Thank you. Jenny Amussen

We had a great time at Beaver Lake. The water is clear, so if you have snorkeling gear, bring it. We stayed at site #29, great view, but very tight. You share a driveway with your neighbor at #28, so there is not a lot of extra room. Fortunately, we have a smaller teardrop camper, so it worked out ok.Be prepared for some wind if you are staying there, always had a breeze!

Loved our time there. Everything one could want in addition to being close to a really neat little town. The only advice I would give is be sure to prepare for the wind! It can make it difficult to set up things like tents, gazebos etc.

We had a great time the only drawback is some of the sites are quite difficult to get backed into.

Beautiful scenery, easy access for hiking, wildlife and fishing. Our family loves this campground!

Picnic table covered in grease; we tried to wash it but didn't work well, needs to be powerwashed. lots of trash on the ground. Great campsite location overlooking the lake, large spot with room for tents. fire pit on this site is RIGHT NEXT to the asphalt drive for the neighboring site 28. when they left sunday morning it was very disruptive as we had to sit on the drive to be near the fire; they almost hit my dog and our 3 young kids that were near the fire as they didn't warn us that they were about to start moving their truck and rv. the bathrooms ran out of tp on sat afternoon, latrines didn't have lights at night. another site had a loose dog that kept coming over to our site (our dogs were on leash or rope at ALL times.) overall we enjoyed our stay but will choose a diff site where the firepit isn't on the road.

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful campground! The rocky ground and the wind made it very difficult to set up our tent though. Just something to be aware of.
