Lake was beautiful and we had a good time. Was disappointed that most camp sites don't have water, so be prepared. I unfortunately didn't notice my site didn't have water until I had already gotten my camper completely set up. :D Site 003 is nice with a pretty view, but is a bit of a pain to get into. If anybody is in sites 001 or 002, you basically pull straight up into their sites to back into 003, so it's a little awkward. Site was nice and level and the electric panel was good to go, no surges or anything. The kids were disappointed with the "playground", which consisted of a simple swing set, that's it. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean. I think I'll stay on the river side camp ground next time though. A lot more shade, and I believe all of those sites had water.

COE has such great parks, and the Dam Site was right there with them. We had a wonderful location with outstanding panoramic view of Beaver Lake. We were next to the boat launch, and fortunately it was not like a busy Saturday afternoon, so the little traffic was just enough to keep people watching interesting. Great place to stay and highly recommend.

I do not like the change where now all sites can be reserved. So only thing available is during the week, so if you want to stay through the weekend there are no sites. All weekend sites have been booked months in advance. Thus you are bumped from your site and there is no where to go. Bad deal, if there was first come first serve sites you would not have this problem.

It started out rough as we was in site #2 with tents and we realized the only spot for tents was on the asphalt. The park attendant was very helpful in getting us moved to a different spot. The campground was beautiful we ended up having an amazing time. I would reccomend yall put something on the website letting people know that the only place for a tent on #2 is asphalt.
