We always love coming to Dam Site. So well maintained and every site has an amazing view of the lake.

We were only there for the night but it was very peaceful. Great views. Not too close to neighbors. Well kept park. We had been to Eureka Springs for a massage at Palace House Hotel so it wasn't too far and the drive was beautiful. Will definitely stay again!

Nice park. Water clarity is awesome. The park has a over-population of Geese. Unfortunately during our stay there had been rain storms the week prior this cause elevated biological levels in the water just around the park (which is an island), thus closing the park from swimming or water activities. It was the only park on Beaver Lake that that had "no swimming". The process is that the park service must have two sequential samples come back negative prior to opening the swimming / water activities. They don't get in a hurry to perform the sampling so consequently they stay closed for extended periods (weeks). Pray for dry weather when you visit.

Great spot to camp!! Some sites are hard to get into. Tree limbs need to be trimmed up higher to clear campers

Site 42 is a nice site. Great view of the lake and the doorside faces east so later in the day your trailer gives you a little shade. Water in this site now which is a huge +. Lots of green space as you are the end site at the front of the loop. Only downsides. Backs up to the roadway from the mainland and also to the exit road. You just end up with more traffic that you watch if you are out at your shelter. Not a lot of shade.

We like this campground. We showed up, but checkin shack was closed. We didn't get to evf en unload ourcequipment to camp due to immediate personal reasons. We tried to notify someone of recreation.gov but no success. We'll be back.

We absolutely love the Dam Lake Site. We have been twice this year and its absolutely beautiful. Even in the heat of August the island gets such a nice breeze. On top of its beauty the camp host are so friendly and the island is heavily patrolled. Might be the safest campground on Beaver Lake.
