Loved site 11. Enjoyed having the wild geese visit everyday and sort of have a private beach. Will be visiting again!

Worst campground showers Ive ever seen. No water temp control, cold building, gotta keep pushing a button to keep water on. Construction going on around the campground was very loud

Raccoons were present in the evening as well as aggressive flies during the day but the rest of the camping was awesome. very quiet and peaceful and nice little cove for swimming

This is a very scenic campground that is water front. Beaver lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the Ozark's. We stayed at site 11. Water front(10 feet). Great views of the lake. This site would not work for many, as the pad is short and sloped. We have a 10 foot teardrop so it worked just fine for us. Much bigger and it would be hard to level, without decent leveling blocks. Facilities were clean but not the nicest and a bit sparse. We had a pop up changing tent set up by our teardrop as it adds a bit of space for a small camper. We were told by the park ranger we could not have it set up. Seems odd considering many campers had RVs and tents on their sites. Not a teardrop camper friendly approach. All in all a great spot if you dont need the space or the nicest facilities. The waterfront spots and views far outweigh any negatives. We would recommend and return.

Our small group of riders camped at Beaver Lake Dam and we loved it. The campground was well maintained and clean, quiet time was enforced and a park ranger let us have firewood that was left at a campsite. The group wants to make sure we camp there every time we go to north Arkansas.

Site 11 had full shade for a 24ft trailer (8/2021) and next to covered picnic table. Excellent waterfront access/view and Easy walk down to the water. 30amp at site, water connection was about 25ft away and Host asked us to disconnect after obtaining water since this was also the public water access. No problem. Pit toilet was nearby and was clean. Host was friendly and informative. Would absolutely reserve this site again.Be aware that the Separate area for the dump station is across the road from the main park entrance - a very tight turn around to exit this small asphalt lot.

The site was very nice and clean. Covered in shade. Our site was perfect for swimming and fishing. Restrooms next the site. Our kids said this was their favorite site. Very friendly hosts and park rangers.

I tried to book a site on the island but they booked as soon as my date was available. We settled for 011. The vault toilet is very close to the campsite and the winds the first day were not favorable..The site was very short, as my 22 foot trailer tongue was about on the ground to get level as the drive slopes up from there. The trip was overall nice. I had good Dish satellite reception, but little or no C-Spire phone service.

The site descriptions arent always accurate, and our camper wouldnt fit in the original spot we reserved. Then the second site was so terribly sloped, it would have been a nightmare trying to sleep or even be inside our RV. Not every site has a water hookup. The sites on the island right along the shore closest to the entrance, 40-somethings; are great. Water and Electric hookups, flat pads, beautiful view. We will stay here again, but only on those select few spots with water and a good RV pad!
