Was a quiet and relaxing stay. Restroom and showers were clean and heated. The only draw back was the campsite across the road from ours had a parking pad the was pretty much at our campsite.

The swim area needs to be cleaned up. Geese feces everywhere and it makes it difficult to walk, not to mention to utilize the covered pavilions. The bathrooms and Shower houses need attention. The tornado that hit the area was more than a year ago and many down trees in camping area makes it difficult to walk to lake.

The campground was very nice and clean. The only thing that sucked was the toilets were covered in spiders and knats.

Our tent site was on a 30 degree slop so there was no way to set up on level ground, we all had to sleep at steep angles. The sites next to the marina were not good because you could hear people on their boats with the music going into the night and the construction was really loud starting early in the morning. There was no attendant ever and no where to get firewood. Very little info at the front structure to direct you and many wayfaring signs to find which road your site is on are non existent. No lights in the bathrooms either.

Site 106 is too steeply sloped to be safe for tent campers. 3 of the 7 campers in our group fell; 1 of them badly enough to require a trip to the ER - she is still on crutches. A second camper's knee is still bandaged and will likely scar.Secondly, this site is above the marina parking, which is doubling as a construction materials storage site. We were crudely awakened by the annoying back-up warning siren of a forklift as soon as the sun rose, and could hear workers shouting at each other all day long. Third, this entire campground of over 100 campsites has just 1 shower facility with only 3 stalls. This facility is poorly designed and water does not flow to the floor drains as it should; there is standing water throughout the shower area when in use. The too-short shower curtains do little to mitigate the effects of overspray, and the water simply goes from cold to less cold. Lastly, the vault toilets on the "Peak" loop are disgusting withsigns asking users to close the lids to help control odor; however, one of the 2 lids on the womens' side is broken! Also noteworthy: I have arthritis and the pump handle for the common water tap is too stiff for me to use. I could not get water by myself. There are very few sites in this park with actual views of beautiful Beaver Lake.
