Nice campground with many large shade trees. Close to enough to drive into Tulsa.

Beautiful campground - very clean and the space between camping sites (in most places) was good. The trees and landscape was gorgeous and lots of wild life too!! We will definitely return!!!!!I have one complaint and one suggestion. The complaint: some sites are suggested for larger camping trailers (40' +) and although the actual parking space is big enough, it is nearly impossible to get your trailers into these spots. They are either too sloped or surrounded by too many trees. We arrived at our camp spot (after traveling to AR for two days) and literally could not get our camper into our reserved spot unless we cut down several trees. Fortunately, we were able to find some other sites that accommodated our two-week stay but it was a huge hassle to move sites over this time period since others had their reservations. The area around all sites need to be sufficiently cleared and/or leveled to allow trailers of the specified size to navigate into them. The suggestion: more signage is needed in the campground. First, speed limit signs. Since there are no places to walk other than the park roads, drivers need to be reminded to slow down. Second, there are some initial signs for the location of various camp sites but they don't continue up to the actual location. Being parked in some of the first camping slots of the park, we were asked several times how to get to sites further into the park (no camp host the entire time we were there).

Spots are very unlevel, trees next to the side of lane and road are inconvenient to backing up trailers.

Pad was a little tilted but not too bad. Shaded area. Easy enough to get my 30 ft. A class in and out of. Pleasant neighbors. Cicadas are loud! Pretty warm and humid in August but expected that. Amazing mountain bike trails around Bentonville and Bella Vista!
