Our pick of our site was not what we expected. We contacted the host , Dan, and he got us squared away on a great site! Too bad it rained the 2 days were there, but its beautiful there.

Had spot 74 with a 36 5th wheel. This spot was great. It had a level concrete pad and nice big picnic area with big grassy areas on both sides of the campsite. Only other campsites were across the street. Only downsides were the main street to the marina was visible behind us and there werent any trash cans other than at the dump station. A bathroom was nearby but no trash and no shower. All campsites in this loop looked easy to access but driving around the campground most were narrow and short with tight turns and hills to approach. Probably only small campers could get in most.

Nice, clean and quiet. Stayed during winter season and knew ahead of time there were limited services - no water, shower or bathrooms other than down near the boat launch.

We were camping in December. There was no water and no toilet in the open campground, but we walked around a locked gate into the closed campground where we found fresh water and an open pit toilet. This is crazy. If you allow winter camping, you should at least have a pit toilet open. One last thing: there was no place to get rid of trash. A POORLY MANAGED CAMPGROUND (at least in winter).

Nothing during the reservation process told me that the water and electric would be off and bathrooms locked on the only camping loop open after oct 31. The spot I reserved was listed as having water and electric. No trash cans anywhere either.

The only open section that we were in the bathrooms were locked. When we reserved our site it showed water and electricity. When we got there we found it no one in these sites had water. It came out and stopped completely. The host Robert was great and very very helpful. But he could do a little to rectify the water situation.Everyone we spoke to were very disappointed and some angry. Some campers were from very long distance states. There were no signs or warnings that the water was shut off and bathrooms closed for these sites.

This particular site was not close to the water and most of the campground was closed off and winterized at the time, but it was clean and quiet which is all that we wanted.
