Beautiful campsite. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Grounds had just been mowed.

This location was clean and quiet. I was not far away from the public bathroom/shower house. I never smelt any bad odors wafting from that area. I did witness the maintenance crew frequently cleaning and restocking the bathroom. My kids played at the park just up the hill and they were close enough for us to hear and see them. The only complaint I have is that the water pressure from the on site water hookup was weak, especially if other camp sites had there water on or even hooked up. I would definitely go to this site again!

This park is one of the best in the country.

Over all the experience was great. We during the burn ban so we were able to have a fire but we made the most of the experience and brought lots of light. The bathrooms were a little dirty and there wasnt soap but wed brought our own for hand washing and one of the playgrounds is a little dated but with less funding for state parks thats not surprising. Overall wed definitely go again.

Park seems not to be kept up pretty run down, expected better, think parks around Table Rock are nicer.

Lots of trees; most sites are well-shaded. Area is broken up into different areas so you can choose to be near playground, shower, toilets or far away from them. Photos on website do not accurately show how flat or angled the sites are, so you might want to call the caretaker for advise. Website is a bit confusing regarding water. The description of the sites says water and electric, but there is a note at the bottom of the page that makes you believe there is not a dedicated water source at each site. This is incorrect. Each site has its own dedicated water hookup. The caretakers are very friendly and go out of their way to help. I had a water issue with my motorhome, and the gentleman spent quite a bit of time with me trying to figure out the issue. He made a suggestion that was spot on, and fixed the issue.

Not a great spot for tent camping. Six 25-35 foot RV trailers around me. Two had LEAF BLOWERS going for half an hour, then the smell of charcoal lighter fluid as campfires were started for an evening of enjoyment. There was just enough level ground on the rocky hillside for my one-person tent, staked with difficulty. Toilet and shower clean, though the latter luke-warm , so not used on 37 degree morning. Apparently an enjoyable spot for RVs to enjoy a campfire, hopefully also the beautiful Beaver Lake.
