The bathrooms were nasty for several days. Black mold in shower area. Someone needs to clean and inspect to make sure the workers are doing what they are paid to do.

we camp during the week and the area was really quiet

The size of each site is very generous. Plenty of space between campers - not packed in like sardines. Very convenient to have electric AND water at each site I stead of just a common water tap per loop. I can't say enough how kind and helpful the attendants were.

We were in site 22. It has your water, electric, fire ring, and picnic table all within a foot or two of each other, all on the same side. You could not use the picnic table or fire ring since they are inches from the rv pad - literal inches. Rv pad slopes towards the ravine side so you have to hug the inland side to be somewhat level with all four tires on the ground. We have a 30 self leveling motorhome with one drivers side slide (for reference). Crime is an issue in the park. Speeding from day trippers is amazingly unenforced, and people drive from site to site checking cars for valuables. A group stopped at the empty campsites picnic table next to ours to go through and sort what they were able to steal. We were away at the terribly littered and hazard-terrain beach, so we were not there to witness the thieves firsthand but received a report from 3 of our camping neighbors. They were all afraid to report the incident for fear of criminal retaliation. We did see a Benton County Sheriffs car cruise by once in our 4 day stay. The facilities are filthy and out of basics like toilet paper, soap at the sink, etc. This is a true statement for any of the facilities there. Outside of the one by the beach there is an actual hole from a pipe that has its fitting missing in which a child can snap a leg ot an adult can take a tumble. Our loop was quiet, much quieter than the other sections we passed around on our walks. Which is good for obvious reasons, but not so good since criminals even felt safe meeting back up with each other in out loop as well. The resident caretakers as well as the army corps need to spend some more time caring for the park. Starting over a decade ago this was a favorite park of ours, now it is something we are weary of for all the reasons mentioned. Its quite a sad state of affairs.

Well kept up camp area. My one thing I would like to see improved is the camp ring/picnic tables moved to the front of your camper instead of behind
